Headquartered in Darwin, Airnorth is now the major airline in Northern Australia and carries in excess of 250,000 passengers annually. The company operates over 180 departures weekly, serving 15 destinations in the Northern Territory, Western Australia, Queensland and Timor-Leste. As well as charter services, Airnorth operates a weekly scheduled direct flights connecting Broome with Kununurra, Port Hedland, Karratha, Perth and Darwin. In addition Broome passengers can connect via regular Airnorth scheduled services to destinations such as Perth via Kununurra and via Darwin they can connect to Dili in East Timor, the Gold Coast and Mt Isa in Queensland and Arnhem Land and the Gulf regions in the Northern Territory.
